We Want Your Opinion on Agenda for Next Meetup!

We've been offered two presentations, and I need your feedback:

The first is a presentation by a corporate and IP attorney on the subject of "Issues that Start-Up (and Other!) Companies Routinely Face Regarding U.S. Law".

The second is by a management and strategy consultant, on the subject of "Simple Tools for Difficult Business Decisions: Why a 7-Minute Meeting Took an Hour-and-a-Half".

I'd like to hear from you:

* Are you interested in general in having presentations at our meetups?
* How do you feel about having men presenters at our meetups?
* What is your interest level specifically in the above-suggested topics?

Based on your opinions, we will organize a presentation for the upcoming March 1 meetup, be'ezras Hashem.

Please add your reactions and feedback to the forum discussion here, or contact me directly if you feel more comfortable (sarah.lipman@mac.com). I look forward to hearing from you, and to seeing you on March 1!

Would love to hear why a 7 minute meeting takes an hour-and-a-half (just come from a 5 hour meeting!!!)

Sounds great - no problem with men; but 9am is very late for working women - why not 8:30?

Hi, Suzanne!

Thanks for your input. 9:00am is a balance -- it means pushing off the start of the work-week, but gives women with younger children time to launch them to their ganim, most of which don't start before 8:30am. But I want to hear what works for other people, too, and if earlier is better for a group of us, then we should consider starting earlier, always or occasionally.

Look forward to meeting you!

Sarah
